It’s Time for God’s Voice

In just a few weeks, I am excited to join a wonderful panel of Christian speakers for the God’s Voice Conference: A Biblical Response to the Queering of the Church.

The conference will take place on Feb. 22-23 in the Oklahoma City area — and we hope you will gather up your family, friends and church group to come join us! (Register HERE: www.godsvoice.us)

Why God’s Voice?

Last summer’s Revoice conference brought the oxymoronic designation of “LGBTQ+ Christians” and the psychobabble of “sexual minorities” and “queer treasure in heaven” right into the heart of the Presbyterian Church in America —  a historically conservative denomination — and its influence isn’t going away. It’s growing.

A recent Pew Research Center poll showed that 47 percent of Generation X and millennial evangelicals favor so-called “gay marriage,” even as those younger generations are found to have ever-decreasing biblical worldviews.

Not only are the upcoming generations of professing evangelicals embracing the well-crafted propaganda of the LGBT movement out in the culture, but our churches themselves are a target. Sexual radicals don’t just want dominance in the political/secular realm. They want the church to embrace and celebrate homosexuality — in direct contradiction to the Bible. Simply put, our conservative, biblical churches are the targets of LGBT activism from within.

This is evident not just with Revoice, but in the growing push by homosexual-activist groups like the Human Rights Campaign to push evangelical Christians in a pro-LGBT direction. As Lisbeth Melendez Rivera, HRC Foundation director of faith outreach and training, said when HRC released its recent “Coming Home to Evangelicalism and To Self” Guide this past summer: “HRC is proud to release this powerful guide as part of our ongoing effort to help faith leaders and organizers fully embrace the LGBTQ faithful.”

The God’s Voice Conference aims to help Christians – pastors, leaders and laymen alike – to be aware of and learn to counter the growing, serious biblical error of so-called “LGBTQ+ Christianity,” which threatens to compromise and even theologically decimate our churches from within.

If we do not stand on God’s Word in this hour, there is no telling where our churches may be in just a few years.

Who will evangelicals listen to in this hour? Will we accept the unbiblical Revoice narrative and allow our churches to be theologically undone from within, as has already occurred in the mainline liberal denominations? Or will we stand on God’s Word alone at this critical time in American church history?

It’s time to listen to God’s Voice on the issue of sexuality — and obey Him alone. It is time for us to heed the Lord in Jeremiah 7:23: “But this command I gave them: ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. And walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.'”
